Reflexite® Reflective Solutions: New corporate design to be unveiled at the 117th Congrès National des Sapeurs Pompiers

The specialist in reflective materials for fire brigades will present new products at the traditional Angoulême fair, which takes place from 23rd to 25th September

(July 2010) Reflexite, the renowned specialist in safety products for rescue services and fire brigades, continues to grab the headlines with innovations that make the work of emergency personnel easier and safer. In pursuit of its aim of safety through visibility, the company produces reliable reflective elements for rescue service uniforms, emergency vehicles and other purposes. At the 117th staging of the traditional Congrès National des Sapeurs Pompiers, Reflexite will present new and established products to a trade audience.

The tradition-conscious trade fair will provide the ideal stage for Reflexite to unveil its new corporate identity, logo colours and image to a French audience. The new logo of the international corporate group will be accompanied by a new slogan: 'Saving lives, saving energy' emphasises the twin focus of Reflexite on the fields of safety through visibility and energy-efficient high-tech components for industry. The life-saving potential of Reflexite products is at its highest in connection with rescue services and fire protection. For this area, Reflexite will be presenting its new GP030 tape. The tape, based on glass bead technology, is designed for the fire-resistant clothing worn by firefighters as well as offshore workers on oil rigs.

With the introduction of glass bead products, Reflexite can claim to be a full-range supplier: with high-end microprism technology delivering maximum reflection, glass bead tapes offer a lower-end solution for a wide range of applications where lower performance is sufficient.

Reflexite will be presenting its entire product range for the field of rescue services and fire protection in Angoulême – from firefighters' clothing to vehicle markings. Products on show will include new neon yellow and red films for the triangular chevrons on emergency vehicles.

Reflexite Reflective Solutions will continue to offer its established range of retroreflective tapes to ensure safety for firefighters. The retroreflective elements on their equipment help to ensure emergency personnel remain prominently visible when on duty in low-visibility locations. The use of fluorescent yellow ensures maximum conspicuity by day AND night, even where visibility is seriously impaired due to smoke or other factors.
