“It always stirs up a great excitement when I am able to identify some safety items made by our factory and shown either on the TV programs or published in the newspapers. Those programs or news are normally related to accidents or tragedies which make me feel sorry and sad. But it gives me a lot of relief that our products are helping those rescue workers performing their jobs better and saving more lives. It certainly makes my working days go by very quickly and my work is very rewarding.”

The above comments are frequently heard from Nenqin Xie, a shop-floor worker who joined Reflexite China in 2002. Although she is currently assigned to RF Team #2, like her many other co-workers, Xie is fully cross-trained and can be assigned to most other work stations and teams, depending on the specific work load for any specific day. “We understand that we are performing basic work for the company but we are very proud that we can make this fundamental contribution to life-saving situations”, says Xie.
